The CMA Intermediate course is an important step towards becoming a CMA, providing students with enhanced knowledge and skills in management accounting and financial management. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) conducts this intermediate level of the CMA, which goes deeply into subjects such as cost and management accounting, direct and indirect taxation, corporate regulations, and financial management. So, in this blog, we will delve into the registration process for CMA Intermediate, their subjects, and when to apply.
Passed Senior Secondary School Examination / Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) and CMA Foundation exam.

Direct Entry Route: Students have to be a graduate in any discipline other than music, dancing, photography and painting. Students will also be eligible if they have passed CS Foundation or have passed CA Intermediate.
Provisional Admission: Candidates who are awaiting the results of their degree examinations may apply for provisional admission. Such students would be given 18 months to switch from Provisional to Regular Status.
Students additionally have to give exam fees when filling out the Exam form, which are Rs 2400 for both groups and Rs1200 for a single group.

To begin, go to ICMAI's official website, icmai. in. After you've opened the website, go to the "Students" section of the menu.
When you click on the admission link, you will be taken to a new page.
Following that, you'll notice many options on the left side. Select Online Admission.
Fill out the application form for the CMA Intermediate course.
Next, enter all of the necessary information and generate the OTP directly.
The login credentials will now be provided to your registered email address, and you can begin filling out your examination form.
Finally, upload all of the scanned documents and pay the registration fees.
Minimum 40% in each paper of the group, with an overall aggregate of at least 50% in all the papers of that group.
When a student obtains a minimum of 60 marks on a paper, he or she is qualified for exemption, which is automatically stated in the ICMAI statement of marks. This exemption is only valid for three attempts.
Skill training is compulsory for everyone and lasts 140 hours. If you are planning to take examinations for both groups, you must finish first the 140-hour program and take both exams.
If you are taking the examinations for one group at first, you must still complete the skill training before taking exams for the second group.
