As only 30 days are left for the CA Final exams, you may be concerned about how you will revise the entire syllabus in such a short period.

We are, however, here to assist you in making the most of your time and ensuring that you are well-prepared for the exams.

Go through the entire blog and consider the tips and things to keep in mind for the CA final exams.

Tips for the Last month of the CA Final Exam.

We assume as CA Final exam forms have been filled you must be sure by this time whether you want to give both groups or a single group. And, with only one month left, you would have begun your preparation with that in mind.

However, there may have been many students who filled out the forms, but given their preparations, they would have been hesitant to take the exams for both groups.

Analyze your level of preparation before beginning your revision because if you are unsure about attempting both groups, you should not waste your time.

Make a Suitable Timetable

It is important to create a timetable before starting your revision, otherwise, you may find yourself in a situation where you have only completed one subject after 10 days, leaving 7 more subjects to study.

To avoid this, create a genuine timetable that covers all subjects, leaving the last 3 days for the first exam preparation.

Divide the time for each subject according to your ability, and allocate two subjects per day, one theory and one practical.

Give these two subjects four days to complete your entire revision. this should be your last month's strategy.

MTPs, RTPs & Summary Notes

After finishing each subject, go over the RTPs and MTPs, as well as past year papers; you can do this after finishing a chapter as well.

Remember to mark the important parts while revising so that you can go over them first the day before the exam.

I am hoping you wrote summary notes because they will be useful on exam day, as charts and summary notes help you revise faster.

Amendments

As ICAI emphasises the importance of staying up to date with laws and provisions, it is important to focus on amendments, particularly in subjects such as DT (Direct Taxation), IDT (Indirect Taxation), and Law, while revising go through the amendments as well as questions will be asked from the amendments.

Accounting Standards

It is important to cover AS, IND AS, and SA because they are high-scoring aspects of Accounting and Auditing. However, it is important to write the correct number of AS, IND AS, and SA, as quoting the incorrect number can result in a mark deduction. If you can't remember the number, start with the standard's name. Focus on the AS, standard names, and numbers while revising.

Section Numbers

It is important to write the section numbers in the CA Final exams because the ICAI expects you to be aware of the section numbers.

Basic knowledge of sections is tested at the inter-level, but an in-depth understanding of all sections is required at the Final level.

Although it is possible to miss subsections or clauses, it is best to write all section numbers. If you cannot recall the section number during the exam, begin with a statement like "As per the provisions ….". Writing the section number is an effective section preparation strategy.

Revision Marathons

If you don't understand anything during the revisions, watch the marathon videos. Revision marathons help in quick revisions.

Writing Skills

It is important not to undervalue the importance of presentation in CA exams because it carries significant marks.

As a result, it is recommended that students pay attention to the writing style presented in the ICAI material, or suggested answers, and practise the questions accordingly.

When it comes to theoretical subjects, it is important to comprehend the examiner's question and then provide an explanation, including the relevant provision and section number.

Finally, a conclusion should be provided, as well as any relevant case law.

Mock Test Papers

Attempting the entire paper is a dream for the majority of students. The ICAI papers are very long and require a fast pace to complete. So, during this revision period, after finishing the revision, solve mock tests.

Mock tests are very important because they will put you into practice how to attempt the entire paper. and you will know how well-prepared you are for the exam.

SJC assists students with CA mock tests, known as CA Mock Test Sangram, to help students prepare for their exams. These tests are conducted online and are divided into two parts - chapter-based tests and full mock tests.

The test schedule is released where the test dates, times schedule, and chapter numbers are mentioned. These mock tests are scheduled in a manner that allows students to use them as revision tools.

Once the students take the test online, the faculty thoroughly reviews the papers and provides feedback on the areas where the students need improvement.

These practice tests are designed to help students challenge themselves and clear their minds. They are intended to prepare students for the actual exam by providing them with a realistic experience.

The goal is to identify and work on their weak points to improve their overall performance. The CA Mock Test Sangram is an effective tool that can assist students in achieving exam success; students can take advantage of this opportunity by paying a nominal fee. to learn more about this in depth.
